Dixon trustees escape

BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Sunday afternoon, two trustess from the Dixon Correctional Institute eluded police during a work detail and escaped.

It happened around 12:30 that afternoon.

Police said Charles Lidberg, 22, and Brett Hebert, 21, escaped from the DOTD building in downtown Baton Rouge while they were cleaning.

Police are currently searching for the two inmates around the Greyhound bus station, the DOTD building, downtown Baton Rouge, and Spanishtown.
