St. Mary Parish Deputies arrested a Franklin woman for 38 counts of prescription drug  fraud.

2 fugitives caught making meth in Gonzales hotel

Two fugitives are now in jail after Gonzales Police found them making meth in a hotel room. Officers arrested Monica Smith, 47, and David Smith, 49, at the Supreme Inn and Suites around 9 p.m. on November 23, 2014.
