New Iberia man 'in a hurry' shoots at another driver on Hwy 182
ST. MARTIN PARISH, LA (FOX44) — A New Iberia man is in jail for shooting at another driver on the roadway.
Jeroswaski Collette, 30, was tailgating and driving erratically on Highway 182, before he fired shots at another car around 1:45 p.m., according to investigators.
Major Ginny Higgins, says sheriff's spokesperson, says no one was hurt during the incident, and believes Collette started shooting because he was “in a hurry to arrive at his destination.”
Collette was arrested on August 10, 2014 and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and charged with Assault By Drive By Shooting.
