Road rage incident in Ouachita parish lands Ruston man in jail

Louisiana State Police arrested James Robinson, 56, of Ruston for aggravated assault following a road rage incident in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.

On Monday, June 16, a woman called Troop F and told them that another driver had pointed a gun at her. She gave officers a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle.

Police soon located the suspect, James Robinson, and questioned him. Robinson admitted that he was involved in a road rage incident with the victim and that he showed her the gun, but did not point it at her.

Robinson faces an aggravated assault charge and up to a $1,000 fine and six months in prison if convicted.
