Albert Starks, 22, was arrested by Thibodaux police for three counts of attempted second-degree murder.

The initial incident happened Friday, May 23, around 1:30 p.m. Thibodaux officers were at the scene of a fight in the 1200 Block of St. Charles Street when they heard multiple gunshots.

Police responded to the location of the gunshots and found a vehicle with several bullet holes in it. No one was injured.

After investigating the situation, detectives learned that Starks had been in an earlier fight with one of the victims. Starks left the scene and later returned with a gun, shooting at the vehicle multiple times with the victims inside.

Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies located Starks, and arrested him on outstanding warrants. Starks is being held at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
