With the LSU vs Alabama game right around the corner, chilly weather is not stopping tigers at Academy Sports and Outdoors from 'heating up.'

Whether they will be watching from the stands or the sofa, store experts say fans are getting the goods.

According to Academy Store Director Kevin Cupit, "Despite the fact that it's in Alabama this year, we still get quite a bit of traffic as everybody comes and gets ready. We see a lot of jerseys, t-shirts, hats, barbeque grills--everything everybody needs for a good tailgate party."

With some fellow tigers, and some pre-game preparation, fans we talked to are excited.

Tiger fan, Jennifer Fountain, prepares by "getting all our food, our chairs and our company, [and calling] all our friends

LSU student, Victoria Freeman has a slightly different approach. "Mostly we've been praying that they do good, but we're getting a group of people to watch the game for sure"

Tigers say this year against the number one ranked team is going to be a little bit different.

"Obviously LSU, they're definitely going to win," said Freeman.

"Go tigers!," added Fountain. "Go tigers!," chimed her three year old son, D.J.

The Tigers are set to play the Crimson Tide Saturday at 7pm in Tuscaloosa.
